costumes, walk through old Muscat with its mountains, Jalili and Mirani forts which dates

back to the 16th Century, see Al Alam Palace, stop at Muttrah, the main port in Oman, at

Wahiba Sands, drive 8000 square kilometer south exploring Wahiba Sands, a perfect

specimen of sand sea, stretch almost 200 kms in length and about 100 kms in width, try to

then head to Wadi Bani Khalid with its natural pools and intricate eroded rocks, finally at the
